The department endeavors to foster analytical, managerial, and entrepreneurial attitudes besides inculcating ethical values for the holistic development of learners to create positive societal change.
The Mission statements of the Department
M1: To cultivate a learning environment suitable for the creation and dissemination of management knowledge.
M2: To develop innovative and dynamic business leaders who add value to society and nation-building.
M3: To develop industry-academia interaction in a collaborative manner that provides industrial exposure and experiential learning.
Program Educational Objective (PEO) statements
Opinions of the stakeholders have been obtained through discussions/feedback to evolve the PEOs. The vision and mission statements of the institution are the foundation for defining the program educational objectives. Following are the statements of the PEOs
PEO1: To equip the students with KSA (Knowledge-Skill-Ability) to sharpen and prepare them to face challenges through effective decision making, analytical, and critical thinking to excel in their career.
PEO 2: To help students attain skills such as life skills, basic skills, professional and vocational skills, intellectual skills, and interpersonal skills that will help them build strong teams within a business to achieve their goals and serve society.
PEO 3: Encourage students to blaze a trail to become an entrepreneur by showcasing their entrepreneurial skills.
PEO 4: Instil ethical and moral values deeply infused with business practices to create better citizens and a better society.
